Dania Accounting is an international accounting firm with HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark, and accounting teams in Denmark, Poland, and Ukraine. We have a strong team of accounting professionals in Ukraine working remotely and from Kyiv, Odessa, Lviv, and Kharkiv, servicing more than 350 clients, most of them from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, and the UK. Currently, we are hiring 3 new trainee accountants / full-time accountants to strengthen our team in Ukraine. We offer our newcomers a paid trainee period that covers all relevant aspects of accounting, payrolls, VAT, and tax rules. Job description: You will start with a paid trainee period of 3-6 months, depending on your current experience level. After the trainee period, you will be allocated a number of clients you are responsible for. Depending on the client's requirements, your daily tasks will include: Training with your team members and new colleagues Communicating directly with your clients Advising clients on tax and VAT-related issues Retrieving information from the tax office Issuing sales invoices Booking cost invoices Paying bills for clients Matching payments from customers with sales invoices Sending reminders and statements to customers Reconciliation of bank accounts, customers, and suppliers Declaring VAT Calculating tax Making payrolls Preparing for annual audit Preparing annual reports Preparing tax declarations Assisting with tax inspections And other relevant tasks We offer: Become a part of a successful international accounting company with a vision to be one of the best Get responsibility for international clients Improve and practise your English skills Work on new tasks, ERP systems, and tax/VAT rules from an international perspective Learn to use modern accounting programs Freedom to plan your workday, including “work from anywhere” Flexible working hours and informal working environment, where we can have fun while we are working Helpful colleagues that will assist you in learning your new tasks A stable working place with a loyal and friendly management team Official hiring with an employment contract As part of our Ukrainian accounting team, you will interact daily with other colleagues. A dedicated Team Leader from our international team will help you during your trainee period with planning, answering questions you might have, and checking the work you have done during your first months with the company. Salary: Depending on your current level of skills, we offer you a paid trainee period of 3-6 months. During these initial 3-6 months, we offer a trainee salary of: Trainee accountant with little or no experience: 25.000-30.000 UAH gross Trainee accountant with +2 years of experience: 30.000-35.000 UAH gross Trainee accountant with +5 years of experience: 35.000-45.000 UAH gross The salary you can expect after the trainee period ranges from 45.000-70.000 UAH gross, which depends on your performance, how many clients you can handle, your experience etc. After a successful trainee period, we offer you a permanent employment contract with official hiring in our Ukrainian company in compliance with Ukrainian legislation. The trainee accountant / full-time accountant we are looking for: Has relevant experience or finished study in accounting, audit, or finance Worked or had an internship working as an accountant or accountant trainee in an international environment (will be a plus but not mandatory) Pays attention to detail and likes to take on new responsibilities Thrives in a busy environment with many tasks Works independently and is motivated to learn and develop new skills Has a positive team spirit Speaks and writes English on an intermediate level Application: Interested?
